LEUCAN has found that it is invaluable for children going through treatment to have short term goals or treats to look forward to. With this in mind LEUCAN arranges subsidised events for children to look forward to away from the hospital environment.
These have included:
- An activity weekend in the Summer
- Regular craft days in half-terms
- Cinema trips and meals out
- A trip to Brighton Pier and Sealife Centre
On these occasions the whole family can socialize and share concerns with others in similar situations.
